Is soccer a sport?

I love Colin Cowherd's take on soccer.

If you live in a country with dirt streets, ramshackle sheds for houses, chickens and goats running around the streets, then you are probably a soccer power nation.

Also from Colin Cowherd: I don't want to hear from 5'7"-5'8" guys named Ethan who couldn't make their high school football team about how sophisticated soccer is. 

I cringed when I saw this thread...glad to see it wasn't serious.
