What will peeve me is if they match BSU and TCU up again in a BCS Bowl. Boise should get a shot at the SEC #2 if that's how it works out and TCU vs. Nebraska would be a heck of a game. Then IF Boise beats the SEC #2 worse than the SEC #1 beat them in the SEC championship game and the SEC #1 wins the Championship Bowl there'd be a good argument for a split champion with the Broncos winning the AP.

That might be the best scenario for blowing up the BCS and getting a playoff.

Best Scenerio is:

13-0 Ohio State vs. 12-0 Stanford (Roses)
13-0 Alabama vs. 12-0 Boise (NC)

Split Championship written all over that.

The problem with the old Bowl Championship Series is that the SEC Champion always played a cupcake in their Orange Bowl or whatever.

The Rose Bowl was termed the Grand Daddy of them All for a reason. PAC-10 vs. BIG 10 was the national championship game if both teams were at least a 1 loss team.

They only added the National Championship game because the SEC (& Big 12) were always being left out, because the ACC and the Big Least were so flippin weak.

Except I don't think the Cards are going to go 12-0. I think they lose two conference games. I still like the winner of the OSU OU game to win it, or at least finish second to USC and this year that's a first place finish. Stanford will finish third (2nd) or fourth (3rd) in the PAC10.

Andrew Luck is the Future Seahawk QB.

If Stanford beats whoregon, they will go 12-0. Harbaugh has his Cardinal playing well.

BTW.... Stanford is the Cardinal (like the color), not the Cardinals (like the bird). This is why they have a stupid tree as their mascot.

Sorry to change the subject back to my Hawks, but....I haven't weighed in on their big win.

2-1...sitting on top of the division. This week on the road to the Rams. Should be 3-1 after Sunday. So, I'm sure you all are calling it luck, etc. I see some haters are even blaming the officials. I gotta say, I love it. Keep the hate train rollin. As I've said many times, the Hawks are not good. But neither is their division. They will win it and go to the playoffs. No one can tell me they have overwhelming confidence in any team in the NFC West. So, when compared to the Rams, Cards, and the 0-3 49ers, why not the Hawks? Have they not looked better than the other teams in their division?

Tied on top of the division with the mighty Cards. The Rams surprised me with their win over the Redskins or are the skins that bad? The Hawks better take the Rams seriously.

On a side note I see the Redskins are at the Eagles this weekend. McNabb against his old team, McNabb against Vick..

That is going to be an interesting game. The game I'm looking forward to is the Stealer vs Ravens. Hate the Stealers all you want but Raven Stealers is the hardest hitting game of the season. Hottub space after this one is going to be at a shortage.

I can't believe it, but you may be right in saying the Seahawks win the division and make the playoffs. The real travesty here is that a 3rd place team from another NFC division won't make the playoffs and will have to watch the the winner of the NFC West play during the post season. It's no surprise that the NFC West is weak but I had no idea it was this bad. This year the NFC West just might be the weakest division in the history of the NFL.. Watching the Hawks this year just might drive me to drinking... MORE!

Ya, There's a lot of season left but the Hawks might be the class of the NFC Worst...I mean West. I expected more from the 9ers and a little more from the Cards. I thought this would be the 9ers break out season and so far not so much.

Ya a 9-7, 8-8 or 7-9 Hawks team making the playoffs will be hard for the 10-6 or 11-5 teams not making it but that's the NFL. It isn't like the Hawks haven't ever been screwed out of a playoff berth in their history... Frigg'n JETS, Testicleverty was stopped short by a good 3/4 of a yard darn it.

Dennis Erickson, I actually liked what Erikson was building and think had the Hawks stayed with him their record since would be a lot better. Remember the Hawks at the time were playing in the toughest division in the NFL.

It's tough to win on the road in the NFL but I give the Rams credit. The Seahawks were out played and out coached today, and Bradford looked way better than an old looking Matt Hasseldick.

Still, we have 6 more chances to steal one or two on the road and that's all we need to win the west.

The Hawks better shore up the offensive line and find a defense, any defense, or they might not even be able to win the NFC West. The way things are looking the loser who win the West will be the worst team to ever make the NFL playoffs, and I include the strike shortened season.

Bradford had a good day, Jackson did what he needed to do considering his injury and the Rams defense looked a lot faster and more agressive than the Hawks offense. Still, the Rams have too many holes for the Hawks to be totally dominated on the LOS. J-H-C, that was a poor exhibition of football.

The O line was less then stellar.

How many yards did Seattle give up against the screen pass?

UGLY! I don't/can't understand their road woes. It's embarrassingly bad. As a professional athlete, thet should be far beyond this mental waekness. It reminds me a little of Ankiel or Knoblauch. It's bad to see the wheels come off of the wagon in such a fashion.

The fake punt was bad. They expected the holder to get off his knees and still make the corner? Come on Pete, this is the NFL! Way too much speed at EVERY position for that.

Change is in the air... The Rams are getting better and the other three in the division aren't. Could it be that the St. Louis Rams end up taking the division?
