Sounds like they make same pretty mean fry bread in Leschi and something tells me warrior mom makes the best of all.

How many of you knew that fry bread is the official state bread of South Dakota?

Nice to know you will miss our hospitality. Thanks Pirate, I do make GREAT fry bread.. but it is someone else's recipe we used for tournament.
Maybe I'll have to bring some with me to Spokane this year. Still not sure I understand how this new post season format will work, but I have confidence in our boys to get us there.

I kind of like how they did Tri-District playoffs in 2007, the higher seed team got to have a home game for the first round (I remember a basketball playoff game at King's West/Crosspoint).

At the regionals it looks like two teams will each play two games and two teams will each play one. Three games total.

This from the July WIAA executive board minutes, STATE BASKETBALL AND VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT FORMATS
Basketball
- Based on the recommendations from the district directors during the June 2, 2010, meeting, Lindgren/Olson moved that, for the first round of the state basketball tournaments, teams would be seeded as follows: #1 vs #1 with winner to state as #1; #2 vs #2 with loser out and winner playing loser of #1; winner of third game to state as #2. MOTION APPROVED.
