Good one imp,

Anybody know how the District IV picks for week two ended up?

How about a District IX and District VII picks of the week, somebody from the east side?

Anybody from the Tri's game?

Great Picture imp. However, I don't think it is that bad for Adna just yet.  We will see how they do with LaConner this week.

Ok OG, your the #'s guy.  What is our record from either Johnson's erra ('02-current) or just from '00-'09?

Rumor has it NHS is canning the JV game with us on Monday. Whats up with that? Lame!

I can see right now there are some Pvine faithful that got their panties in a bunch because I picked MWP over them this weekend.  It was a well thought out prediction and not a knee jerk reaction to last Saturday's results.

I may be proved wrong.  Pvine has shown some resiliency over the last 3 or 4 years that can throw all reasoning out the window.  Bottom line is the game has to be played.  MWP has a wave of momentum going for them right now.  They played Wahki very strong and managed to shut Blix down by outstanding blitzing/persuit.  Statistically, my Pirates won Saturday's lackluster game on the hill.  Even coach Fay declared in the Chronicle that they stole this one.  Well, no matter what we didn't deserve it anyway.

Back to the point.  If MWP played Wahkiakum much better than my Pirates did and my Pirates statistically played Pvine better than they played us then simple reasoning would apply......ya?

In all honesty this game is too close to call......

El Tigre,

Ultra-Mag is not worried about this season.  Stay tuned, the season is still young......

We have outstanding coaching and our team is very young.  As always, personal growth will be the key factor on how well we finish this year.  Johnson and his staff will pull every ounce of talent out of these young men and by seasons end will be as ready as they possibly can be for the D4 cross over game.

I'm starting to worry about you UM, you're starting to refer to yourself in the 3rd person.

A few more weeks of football you're going to sound like Ricky Henderson.

MWP:

Heard the same thing.  They are saying they will have to cancel the next 4 JV games.  It's too bad that your numbers are so close that one kid gets hurt and can't play for 4 weeks and the whole JV has to sit out for the same 4 weeks.  JV team looked really good on Monday too.  Sad is what it is, not lame.

Ohh no, no, no! It is lame! And here is why....I have an axe to gring with Pvine administration in general. A little over a year ago it was Pvine who led the charge to have Morton basketball removed from the Central because we could not field a consistant JV team. Make no mistake...I think that was a complete BS move. 100%. I will never waver in that belief. And now, low and behold, look who cannot constitantly field a JV team. Crap! Hypocritcal crap. Participation (as I said earlier) is a roller coaster. I call their lack of JV team karma. And well deserved karma at that.

Queery for the Bored:

Can 8th graders move up and play with the JVs?

Napavine's Junior High Team has a ton of kids with a couple monster 8th graders.......

What really hurt Napavine's numbers is the Senior Class. Only 5 Seniors turned out this year for football....... Figure a graduating class of 40-50, and that is pretty pathetic.

BTW... this isn't the first time Napavine had to cancel most of their JV schedule. I believe they did it in 2008 when they won the State Title.
