POMEROY - Tory Knebel bagged his third Pomeroy Christmas Tournament title to lead the Pirates to second place behind Kittitas in the 11-team affair.
Knebel won by second-period pin in the 160-pound championship match.
Jacob Moore of Pomeroy, who had been competing at 145 this season, dropped a weight class and snagged the 140-pound crown.
Other area entrants claiming titles were Tyler Ross and Taylor Hietman of Prairie, Cody Evans of Colfax, Kyle Brown of Potlatch and Justin Robie of Grangeville.

Pomeroy Pirates take 5th JOSEPH, Ore. - Pomeroy's Austin Reisdorph (189) claimed his third tournament title of the season at the Jo-Hi Cosgrove Eschler Invitational while leading the Pirates to a fifth place finish.
