LOL, Congrats to LR! Great game and they showed a lot of heart. My Bulldog girls just fell a little short and this time of year that means you fall a little long for track.
Next year the Bulldogs will be back. After the season I think I'll start a Colfax thread to reflect on the last ten years, as this is the first season in longer than that they haven't had either a volleyball or basketball golden ball. But for now this is the time for those who did survive and advance. LR, this is one of them hurdles that I’d typed about getting over and you cleared it clean. You’re young and I see some excellent battles up north and central between y’all and the Bears and maybe another match another season with my Bulldog gals. Bulldogs, keep your heads up you came a long way this season, a long long way. While your path led short of Spokaloo it was maybe the longest path traveled this season. Everyone came in looking to make their mark against y’all and you stood toe to toe with some very good basketball teams knowing that if they were ever going to get Colfax this would be the year. You can be proud of that. Buckle down and invest the sweat equity and next season you’ll again make Bulldog Nation proud. I’ve always said that winning isn’t a goal it’s an outcome, that the goal is to get better and if you get better enough scoreboards take care of themselves. This team has gotten better from the first game through the finish than maybe any Colfax team of the last ten years. So while you didn’t earn a golden ball this time around you earned a ton of respect from at least one fan.
