Interesting, Adna pulled out a pretty darn good draw eh? haha.  How did LaConner and Brewster end up in the same quarter bracket? They are both 1 seeds from 4 team districts right?  That seems wrong to me...

Funky bracket. Doesn't appear much chance for compelling semi-finals. All of the suspense is either the first round match-up of La Conner vs. Colfax or in the finals. The middle portion of the winner's bracket just doesn't have the intrigue of past years.

Reardan should cruise into the finals and meet the winner of Colfax/La Conner. (I've been wrong before so don't go bettin' the farm on that...)

On a side note, looks like a great opportunity for a few teams who haven't reached the semifinals to do so.

I was addressing the quote by Coach Marble on the other thread in her accuracy of being a number one seed does not guarantee a great draw for your team.  My prediction was put there as an opinion of how right she was.  I could be wrong though.

The brackets did not end up as well as one would like for semi-finals.  One first round match is a legit semi-final type of match with LaConner v Colfax.  The best one of those teams can place is 5th.  My opinion is that Colfax & LaConner are top three type teams this season.  My guess is the upper bracket quarter-final will be better than that bracket's Friday semi-final.  We will find out if my guess is correct after they play.  First and second trophies Saturday will be well placed this time...my guess going in.

no, you absolutely deserve to be there, you played great.  You're the only bracket without a ranked team, I'm saying you got a good draw as to which teams are in your bracket.  It will be fun to see how D4 measures up.

Olyguy is correct.  Win or lose their first match, Adna's second round will not have a "ranked" team either.  If Adna wins their first two matches, then they will face a ranked team...unless Pe Ell wins their first two matches.  Adna certainly earned their way in and then luck put them in an easier route to the semi-final.  Fun to see what they do with it.  D4 has my respect with all the years of doing well in VB.

Hmm...a shot at Reardan in the semi-finals. After last years draw,it is nice to see the way this worked out. Our girls won"t take any team lightly. And they absolutly deserve to be there! Shock the world ladies!!!!
