Hey, what's the over/under for the number of years the volleyball golden ball will stay in D7? I'm thinking maybe 7 including the last three.

Congrats to the Lady Indians. Good job of repping D7. Great season and we'll see you on the hardcourt.

Bulldog girls, another great season. Congrats on the team you guys became and all you accomplished this year. Next year I'm  sure you'll again give'm H-E-Double hockey sticks. Tough as nails you guys are.

I have heard lots of rumblings and complaints about how the Sun Dome was set up this year and how poor the seating was. Since I didn't make it was curious to hear from those who did what they thought.

Not sure I could be a fair judge 2B.  Did not go last year, so could not compare to the previous Yakima experience.  
  • Certainly was busy this year.  
  • Lots of conflicting sounds.  
  • Matches I wanted to see and could not.
  • Did not like how you had to crawl over people at the end of courts
  • Like the TourneyTown web site
  • Liked the results
  • Court 1 & 2 did have seating on the side and ends...nice
  • So did 5 & 6...I think.  Did not go to the other side

1B's played on courts 3 & 4 (middle) and it was awful! Each teams fans were basically given one section of seating (64 seats). 1B coaches were told at the coaches meeting they were playing on those courts because the 1B's brought the fewest fans...

WIAA has an uncanny knack for making people feel special and enhancing the moment in their quest for the almighty dollar.

3...so pretty much the tourney coordinators told the 1B's to park the tractor at the curb and get into their assigned stall...?

Arrg, I hate the WIAA.

1Bs having to feel lucky they have a court to play on because of the WIAA benevolence. I hope all the 1Bs thanked the WIAA for the bother and finding room for them off in a corner to play.
 
Yet another reason the small schools should opt out of the WIAA and form their own association that will look after their interests. Say 500 and under. Use to be the WIAA was their to facilitate the members and were accountable to the members but now it seems that high school sports only exist in Washington to serve and profit the WIAA. The WIAA is an association of school and schools are not WIAA franchises though more and more that’s the way it plays out.
