Anybody have a few ideas who might be in the final 8? Just for fun don't need smack talk just some ideas who will be there and why?

WEST- MT. RAINIER - LUMMI - NEAH BAY - MUCKLESHOOT

EAST- MLCA - SSC - VCS - COLTON.

Hopefully the MMK boys can keep it going and make the trip east. MRL will be a good test haven't seen them yet this year but I'm sure they are looking to make the trip back to Spokane.

I'm making half of a final two prediction: Colton vs. whatever team can make it through the other side. I would declare an east side team but we all remember Neah Bay!

I love the fact that mmk is getting no respect or consideration the big guys are playing the best ball they have played all year and the one guard has finally found his shot after not being able to hit the broad side of a barn all year. Joker youre kid playing outstanding ball. Hopefully there heads stay small lol. wvhs78 thanks for youre support

mmk loses, not a good game boys played probably worst game of the year, but give mt rainer credit they came to play and did what was needed to win. I will know sit back and eat some crow

Does anybody know the link or how to watch the draw for the state finals next week? They do all the draws tomorrow throughout the day, I was hoping they streemed it out somehow on the internet. Is the drawing done in Spokane or Seattle.

ooo ya, way to call the upset Missle. Not sure if it was, but still. One of the few that gave them a chance. Alot of teams have to be happy to have Colton out of the way.

Brilliantly executed game plan last night by ACH against a far bigger team in Colton. Congratulations ACH. It has been said many times but until Colton is willing to play defense and rotate their players early and often, they will have difficulty in winning a championship. After watching last night, I think Bringiton is correct in saying that coach Paine doesn’t have much trust in his players beyond the four that never came out of the game last night. It’s a shame that a team as good as they are, is staying home next week. But a lucky break for a lot of other teams. I think SSC owes ACH at least a dinner over this!

For all you history buffs out there - how often has a team from the SE district been shut out of a trophy round in the state tournament? I would venture to say that is a rare year!

Colton did not play with any sense of urgency last night. Got out rebounded, out hustled the entire game. Sleep walking.

SSC will never buy ACH dinner. there is too much cold blood in that relationship. with it this wide open I give my boys from SSC a fighting chance, no a big chance to be back there Saturday night! It will be great to see how it plays out but ACH looks like a huge contender along with the three private schools from the east side.

There is no bad blood that I know of in the ACH-SSC rivalry. SSC has nothing but respect for ACH program. They deserve all the success they have had and then some. The games SSC has played against them the last couple years were the most memorable games of the year. That said, I do enjoy watching Derek Isaak play a lot more when some other team has to deal with him.
