Overall I would say the draw created a balanced bracket.  Colton may have the toughest first round draw but I think they will come prepared for it.

From what I have read, Colton has already won the championship. Did we even need to have the draw?

It's the state tournament - anything can and will happen!  Besides its more fun to play the game than to discussed it endlessly!

Maybe a Colton - ACH showdown in the semifinals, anything can happen. Its why they play the game.

 Colton - SC.... Book it. Hunters is very good, but SC is that next level team at the moment, IMO.

 Its going to be ugly watching Lopez vs ACH. Lopez has a chance to beat the record they set last season.

Yes the Lopez/ACH game will not be pretty!  I am hoping they have improved a little since last season.  How did they even put up 50-something points in their regional tournament.

I said Hunters is very good!!!!

We will find out who is playing who in fairly short order.

Looking forward to all the eastside teams (ACH in particular) hanging one on their day 1 opponent....and will be watching from the stands.

 I didn't see the game, the guy who writes for SW preps said Tahola is awful. He said Lopez has not improved much since last season.  
 Colton's J.V would have beat every team on the West side besides Neah Bay. No joke. Maybe ACH could just bring there J.V, might be closer.

ACH and Columbia will be in competition for who allows the least points in a game and who has the largest margin of victory in their respective first round matches. 

BTW - Colton's JV would beat a lot of east side teams too.

The luck of the draw did pit the best of the west in NB v the beast of the east Colton.  Not a good first day for NB, but it does almost guarantee a trophy for NB as well...on the bright side for them.

tahola started 3 8th graders one of them has had a bum ankle since she hurt it early in the year and has not fully recovered, not a fan of that team but the league mvp quit on them in the first quarter then fouled out. Lopez not as good as last year at all watched the game and not at all happy that the west was sending one of them to spokane, tahola played much much better all year but allways seem to fall apart when they get to that point in the season.

Lopez isn't as "good" as last year?!?!?

It's going to be a blood bath.

Lucky for Lopez, Correia's a pretty decent guy.

 Tahola has a decently bright future, Lopez went down hill from what i saw. Correia is a great coach and used to controlling the clock and managing a victory.

If a running clock happens in an 8 team state playoff the WIAA should be embarrased.

So what are the placements going to be? What are the chances Colton loses, very slim to zero?
How bad will they beat an undefeated Neah Bay team? Here's my picks
                                             1. Colton
                                             2. SSC
                                             3. Hunters
                                             4. Neah Bay
                                             5. ACH
                                             6. Cusick
With the 1B girls playing the last game on Sat. how will the crowds be? Should be good as many will come to see just how good Colton is.

Could the running clock happen three times Thursday? And what about Friday, nobody seems to give ACH a chance to beat Colton. As I recall nobody gave them much of a chance at regionals last year and look what happened. SCC gave them a good game inthe semi finals and ACH played with them in the Championship for most of that game. Colton will have to play their best to beat those teams again, and if they do then hats off to them. Lets have some fun!!!
