Another D4 coaching vacancy: Brett Mackey has resigned his coaching position at North Beach.  The article was in yesterday's Daily World.  He's got several young kids, and he's working on his principal's credentials.

also, Coach Beasley from Adna resigned this week.  heard Tom Kelly - MWP is taking centralia girls..... big week for coaching changes. Brett Mackey is a good guy, good luck to him.

There is a family in Adna who is a very close relative of the recently retired Pat Summitt. Rumor has it that the west coast environment would be helpful to her condition and that she will be on the sidelines for the Lady Pirates this next season.

Pat Summitt coaching in Adna? I guess she really has lost her mind.

My goodness that post is in poor taste. Sorry but I just couldn't help myself. Adna girls may not land Pat Summitt but I'm sure they we be just fine regardless of who takes the helm for the Lady Pirates.

I wasn't pointing that at you at all Pirate Ball. I was pointing at myself for the poor taste. You know, the part where I said "I guess she really has lost her mind." Beings she is in the early stages of dementia... Do you get it now? It was supposed to be one of those completely politically in- correct yet in a twisted sort of way kinda funny remarks where everyone isn't sure if they should laugh or not. Guess it just missed the mark.

Tyler Bigby would be a great addition to any of the District 4 schools. Might be hard on refs and administrations but is a great coach for young kids.

This is 2012 and as much as I hate to say it any coach who is hard on refs and administrations will most likely not get a shot. Just a buy product of the touchy feely times we live in now. Administrations have the power and they rarely like to have that power challenged.
