 I think that bracket online is wrong. It has LR going to Adna and Brewster going to to Walla Walla. It is supposed to be visa versa.

That's kind of what I was thinking being that LRH beat Brewster. But we'll see if the WIAA decided to overrule their own seedings-or (God forbid) they actually did screw up. Stranger things have happened. No doubt I agree yote, but I'm not going to argue with the WIAA if that's what they put on the bracket for now.

 With La Conner and Sea Lu in the same regional bracket like Warden and DeSales we will see at least two new teams make it to the final four.

 I predict at least 2 new teams will make the final four.

La Conner should win with Tyler Howlet on the mound I am assuming he will pitch vs. Adna.  Sea Lu will likely make it through saving their ace for the second game of the double header as they did last year.  Unless La Conner can outscore Sea Lu they go down in the regional finals and Sea Lu looks for a three peat.

DeSales also likely to move on to the final four.  I like Concrete's chances in the regional round they have 2 quality pitchers.

 Looks like they fixed the bracket. LR playing DeSales. Should be a good warm up game game for DeSales.

What a tough bracket with DeSales and Warden having to face each other so quickly in the tournament.

I think Warden will again make some noise and go to the end with a great game vs. DeSales along the way.  These guys are the real deal! During the season, They beat a very good 1A Royal team by 6 or 8 (hard to find the stats) and Royal is one of the few who took #2 1A Cashmere (who beat 4A Wenatchee and 3A Eastmont bad)  to a 1 run game.  They can flat out hit the cover off the ball!  Gotta get by those Irish though

I just noticed that I said "it looks like they fixed the bracket."  LOL... I hope no one thought I was saying that they "fixed" the bracket as in "the fix is in."

I was simply referring to the fact that the wiaa website had LR going to Adna and Brewster going to Walla Walla but that they have since "fixed" it.

Looks like the D-7 district games have been moved to Medical Lake tomorrow. Bummer last few years played at Avista , then this year moved to Gonzaga Prep and now Medical Lake. No offense Medical Lake but whats going on ? I hope its not another Eastmont.

I don't think it is ever a good idea to save your ace for the second game. I've seen it backfire a time or two.

I hope Sea Lu pitches their  best on the first game of regionals.  That would give La Conner a better chance against them if they meet in the second round.  My son was the one who pointed out that they saved their ace for the second and fourth games of the tourney last year and their opponents scored 1 run each game.  In our D123 district games Sea Lu did not surrender a run to either La Conner or Concrete.  The Concrete score was 1 to 0.

At this point every team should be able to play defense, and be able to score.  The biggest difference in the teams will be in the pitching.  For La Conner if Tyler Howlett is on the mound then La Conner will have a very good opportunity to win.  I am not sleeping on the D4 I just like the chances Sea Lu, La Conner, and Concrete have versus anyone with the first round pitching matchups.  I haven't seen any of the D4 pitchers, but I predict things will play out much as they did last year.

While I relish the opportunity La Conner has to play and beat Adna.  I kinda wish the regional brackets would mix it up a bit.

NWC takes the number 1 seed in the Disrtict 7 tournament beating LRS 2 - 0.  LRS rebounds to take 2nd by beating Reardan 15 - 4 . Reardan beat up on Kettle Falls earlier in the day 11 - 0.  Reardan goes in as the number 3 seed.

Looking forward to seeing Warden vs. DeSales.  Both are great hitting teams (slugfest??).  Winner to take championship!
