The 2009 Football season is just around the corner and will be starting up shortly. Let get it started - post your "Preseason Top Ten".

Here is something to start the conversation.

#1 - Napavine  - The honor you receive after winning the "Gold Ball".
#2 - Colfax - tons of talented returning players that reached Semi-finals last year.
#3 - Waitsburg/Prescott/JC - Good Senior class with a year under their belt getting use to a new system.
#4 - Adna - Just because Burr said so!!
#5 - Asotin - lost a bunch however they know how to win.
#6 - Willapa Valley - will be part of the West Side contenders.
#7 - Desales - no list would be complete without them.
#8 - Naselle - one play away from beinging in the Championship last year.
#9 - Reardon - Should end up in the playoff hunt out of District 7 behind Colfax.
#10 - LaSalle - Just because Burr said so!!! (I believe White Swan might take them out in  2010)

I am sure that I missed some teams, so add to the list.

Here is something to start the conversation.

Comments in Blue.

#1 - Napavine  - The honor you receive after winning the "Gold Ball".   "They are the defending champions"

#2 - Colfax - tons of talented returning players that reached Semi-finals last year. "Are they pretenders or contenders?"

#3 - Waitsburg/Prescott/JC - Good Senior class with a year under their belt getting use to a new system. "No Clue - Best of Luck"

#4 - Adna - Just because Burr said so!! "Might surprise some"

#5 - Asotin - lost a bunch however they know how to win. "My Wildcard from the east."

#6 - Willapa Valley - will be part of the West Side contenders. "Agreed"

#7 - Desales - no list would be complete without them. "Who's coaching and how much parental support ($$$) is behind them this year?"

#8 - Naselle - one play away from beinging in the Championship last year. "Lost a lot"

#9 - Reardon - Should end up in the playoff hunt out of District 7 behind Colfax. "No arguments here."

#10 - LaSalle - Just because Burr said so!!! (I believe White Swan might take them out in  2010) "Was last year an aberration?"

Yes South Bend will have everyone back however it appears they have very few Seniors with a ton of Juniors and Sophmores. I look for them to finish third in the Pacific however if they happen to make the playoffs could make some noise. 2010 should be their year to shine!

LaSalle 10th? That dosen't sound right, just thier coach should have them at #5. They may have a game with White Swan in league and Desales in non league. Otherwise, it will be just another year of Snow White and the seven dwarfs in the Central Wa 2B. Watervile is back.

I had to PB and A.  Tiger2010 would not even give us a number 10 pick kinda interesting being how Napavine won State championship last year.
That is OK though we wern't even picked in the top 50 last year.  And A1 won't even give us a number 1 pick in C2BL.

Tiger2010 is probably from Pvine and knows the truth maybe? Going off that TJ good luck making the playoffs.

Pretty sure Tiger 2010 is from WP, eastside has them at #3.

As I said earlier, "no clue", but we all is gonna find out here pretty soon!

Any one know if bsports is gonna have a upick 'em this year?

1.  Colfax (Coach Morgan has most of the team back and they are focused!)

2 . Napavine (Lost next to nothing from last year)

3.  Willapa Valley ( Valley is Valley.  Enough said)

4.  LaSalle

5.  Adna

6.  DeSales (The Willapa Valley of the East Side)

7.  Toutle Lake

8.  Asotin

9.  Naselle

10.  South Bend - White Swan

Napa lost 9 seniors Smith,Craft,Metcalf,Kelly,Wisner,Burrese,Christianson,Hamre and Beier. Being one of the biggest 2B schools, they may be able to replace them.

Very true TO...however, they lost 12 SR's the yr before and most of us felt they were the 3rd or 4th best team in the Central going into last season (excluding the Pvine homers, of course).  I saw their 2 T-Dome games last yr and remember looking at the program roster thinking 'Wow!", that kid  is coming back next yr?  Craft & Burrese are gonna be missed, no doubt.  Their O-line will be smaller and faster this yr.  Brown, Waltenberg & Cozart are bonafide All-State candidates right now!  Who on the west side could legitimately slow them down, let alone, beat them?  Adna, with all their SR's? Maybe, but not likely this year (Adna @ Pvine 9/18). A team from the Pacific, SeaTac or NW leagues?  Think about it.

Don't forget about Damon Garnas. He's not a bad guy to have on the line, and I heard he was back in the weight room a few days after the state title game, gettin' ready for this year.

Those 9 seniors are going to be harder to replace than some might think. That being said TO brings up a good point about their depth.
