Should private schools have there own tournament This could be interesting! Just looking for everyones thoughts. And should population such as spokane, or seattle be considered since private schools do not have school districts like public schools do. And should it be considered when making clasificatio...

Hoop Attendance Has anybody seen or heard of any attendance figures for either the 1B or 2B tourneys? Is it the same as recent years when the WIAA, or whoever, refuses to make them public?
In recent years I've found it interesting the Spokane figures are nearly impos...

March Madness One of my favorite times of the year.
I will be filling out multiple brackets online.
Who are some dark horses that could surprise?
Could Gonzaga and Washington end up in a sweet 16 matchup?
Let the Mayhem Begin!

1B vs. 2B PG and others in the know -- assuming the amendments to put the B teams back together or to boot the private schools don't pass, do you have any idea where the cutoff between 1B and 2B will be next time? Right now it's at 88 but there are only about 50 s...

2009 State 2B Notes & Thoughts The overall tournament was good, but if the WIAA amendment doesn't pass, I think the future of our tournament could be in jeopardy. Attendance is down, despite what the WIAA is telling everyone. Spokane isn't buzzing about the tournament like they used to...

Should BigBee and Bickelton have their own State tournament? How about it...the two main entities continually spewing about the privates and their great advantages can actually have a chance to win a state championship on a every other year basis....that will really be worth something!

All schools under 150 could with draw from the WIAA. After reading about these current amendments that are rather interesting, my thought is this:
All schools with enrollment under 200 students could start a new association, and remove themselves from the WIAA. WRSA Washingtons Rural Schools Association.

Amendment 2 In April, the WIAA representative assembly will vote on Amendment #2. If passed, it will supposedly reunite the “B” schools into one classification. What it really will do is unite the current 1B and 2B classifications into one class. And it will be tw...
