RITZVILLE, WASHINGTON, State Wide - "On the road with Rhody"

With its initial debut tonight, Channel 1 on bsports.org at 7 pm, the world will be introduced to the personal side of the Washington State "B" communities. Eric Martin, aka "Rhody" will host an in-depth discussion of personal stories, trials and tribulations, barriers that are overcome and other great story lines throughout the "B" community. His show is slated for the first Thursday of every month, with his opening show tonight involving Life Christian High School and the unique coaching situation that developed at that school.

"Rhody", Bsports.org westside play by play personality comes from Rhode Island and still holds his "strange voice" from the far east of our country. With a long history of athletic endeavors, "Rhody" has learned what the "B" community is all about. In a meeting several weeks back, Rhody acknowledged that he has fallen in love with the B community, something we warned him would occur. He has found what we all know and love about the various communities across the state, that the B communities are different and show a great love, compassion and spirit for the high schools we support....truly a "love of the game".

"On the road with Rhody" will be a show highlighting the personal stories that abound across the state. He wants active engagement from our audience and asks for story ideas to be emailed to him at Rhody@bsports.org. This is your chance to let him know of unique stories, personal triumphs, community spirit and other stories that make our community so much different than other classifications. Any and all suggestions are welcomed as we look for this show to increase in popularity and move from a once a month show to a weekly show in the future.
