LIBERTY, Missouri - Three members of the 2008-2009 William Jewell men’s basketball team were named to the Heart of America All-Conference teams. Senior forward Larry Mandacina was named to the All-Conference second team. Senior guard Jordon Jamestown was named to the All-Conference third team and sophomore Jonathan Benson was named as an All-Conference honorable mention selection.
“These three men have worked very hard this season,” said head coach Larry Holley. “This is great recognition for our program knowing that we play in a very tough conference.”
The Cardinals open the HAAC tournament against Benedictine College on Thursday, March 5, at 7 p.m. in the Mabee Center on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo.
