ROSEMOUNT, Minnesota - I was a cool crisp night at Rosemount High School, and thats just the way the Irish liked it.
Rosemount had a great first quarter as Irish quarterback Kevin Larson hooked up with wide reciever Zachary Vraa for a thirty-five yard touchdown pass and it was 7-0 Irish. Then Running Back Andrew Hausmann ran it in for a 90 yard touchdown and it was 14-0 Irish. Still in the first quarter Kevin larson hooked up again with Zachary Vraa this time for a 31 yard touchdown. It was 21-0 Irish with the lead after one quarter. Nobody scored in the second quarter and it was Rosemount with the lead 21-0 at halftime.
Third quarter Eagan started to get it going, Wildcat quarterback Zack Zenner ran it in from one yard out and it was 21-7 Irish with the lead after three quarters. In the fourth quarter Larson hooked up with Vraa for another thirty yard touchdown and that was it. Final score Rosemount wins 28-7. Kevin Larson threw for three touchdowns all caught by Zachary Vraa.
With the win Rosemount moves to 4-2 while Eagan falls to 2-4.
