ROSEAU, Minnesota - The Roseau Rams got their first regular season victory on Senior Night, on the last day of the regular season.

The Rams broke a 13 game losing streak on strong running by junior running back Lyle Norman and senior QB/RB Kevin Erickson. The two players combined for 262 yards on the ground against the East Grand Forks Greenwave.

Norman was fed the ball early and often, gaining yards in chunks against the Greenwave defense. He capped off the Rams opening drive with a 5 yard touchdown plunge at 6:21 of the first quarter, his 9th of the year.

After East Grand Forks' Cody Kallock fumbled late in the first, WR Matt Baily was the recipient of a 5 yard touchdown pass from QB/RB Kevin Erickson on the first snap of the second quarter, giving the rams a 13-0 lead.

East Grand Forks quarterback Darrin Hagen struggled completing passes through the air, but drove the Greenwave down the field and they finished with a 4 yard touchdown run by RB Jake Safranski. The Greenwave converted the two-point try to bring the score to 19-8. That would finish the scoring, and the regular season for both teams.

Roseau (1-6) will head to Pequot Lakes to take on the #1 seed Patriots next week. East Grand Forks finishes the season at (2-5).
