MENDOTA HEIGHTSPER, Minnesota - The St. Thomas Academy Cadets behind a great ground game roll over the Tartan Titans tonight 45-14. The Cadets were letd by a trio of running backs that include #24 Dan Freund, #5 Danny Abbott and #23 Augie Braddock. All three of these guys showed there dominance tonight each having over 90 yards rushing on the ground. The QB combo of John Garry and Ryan McManus both made big plays when they needed to for there prospective offense. But the man of the night was #4 Leo Leighton who returned a punt for an 88 yard touchdown and he also had 2 interceptions that stopped key Tartan potential Scoring drives. With this victory St. Thomas Academy goes 8-0 and gives them great momentum going into the sectionals.

On the Titan side of the ball there bright spot tonight was Cody Perzichilli who had a 74 yard rushing touchdown in the 4th quarter and led his team in rushing with over 100 yards tonight. Quarterback Max Ryan was very efficient but had a few costly turnovers that took his offense off the field. Turnovers were the biggest problem tonight with 5 total which included 2 interceptions and 3 fumbles.
