WOODBURY, Minnesota - Woodbury had there work cut out for them as both there starting quarterback Jake Quast and starting running Lamonte Edwards were out of today's game due to injury. But that did not stop the Royals one bit.The royals were able to use the rest of there running backs, and they did not dissapoint. Wooodbury lead this game the whole way. They won big 43-8 to advance to the next round of the playoffs.
Woodbury Royals running back Junius Wilson had 140 yards rushing and one touchdown for the game. Royals running back Profit Idowu had 151 yard on the ground and 2 rushing touchdowns for the game. Also Royals running back Anthony Osifuye added a rushing touchdown in the game. The Royals had the running game going tonight and that contributed to there win. Also alot of credit goes to the Royals deffense as they managed almost to shut out the Minneapolis South Tigers.
With the win the Royals move to 6-3 and the next round of the playoffs. Minneapolis South finishes the season 3-6.
