Week 10

 
CONCRETE, WA - This past week we saw lots of rain, some snow (not as much as Denver), some cold weather but it all cleared up just in time to see the kids put a costume on of their favorite cartoon character, super hero, or sport's hero. The worst part is telling kid after kid that you are out of candy after they knock on your door but I sure do enjoy the candy that my kids bring home for me.

Point Guard's Weekend Observations -

1) The Irish had a great weekend on the Palouse and in Texas.

2) The Cougs maybe the worst team in College football and Wulff is on the hot seat.

3) The Pacific League Title is stuck in Menlo - Can sameone take it away?

4) A 5 way playoff to decide the fourth and final spot in the 2A Evergreen Conference - WOW!

5) Elections are this week. Do not forget to vote.

6) Who needs Devin Hester when you have Anthony Tatum? Career Leader in the WIAA.

7) SNL is not the same without Chris Farley, what a great actor.

2B Football Rankings

1) Colfax (8-0) - Expect the Broncos to come out and lay some lumber in this match-up. Next Game - vs TTW Lind-Ritzville

2) Adna (8-0) - The Tatum train has left the station, I expect another return in this game. Next Game - @ Vancouver Christian

3) La Salle (9-0) - Another long trip to Manson but it looks to be their last. Next Game - @ Manson

4) Tacoma Baptist (9-0) - The Crusaders are on cruise control heading into the playoffs. Next Game - vs Chief Leschi

5) Willapa Valley (8-1) - No port visit for the Vikings and now the short trip to their rival's backyard. Next Game - @ Raymond

6) Asotin (8-1) - Desales scored in every aspect of the game. Can the Panthers regroup? Next Game - BYE

7) Napavine (7-2) - The name is Micah - Micah Brown. Next Game - @ NWC-Lacey

8) Waitsburg-Prescott (7-1) - A tune-up for the three way tie breaker? Next Game - @ Dayton

9) Naselle (8-1) - Every team likes to be able to control their own destiny and the Comets came through. Next Game - @ Ocosta

10) Orcas Island (7-2) - A short week, a title already in hand, do the Vikings rest a few players agians the Braves? Next Game - @ La Conner
