YAKIMA, WA - The volleyball concluded in Yakima with a bang as St. John-Endicott and La Crosse-Washtucna battled through five sets to see St. John-Endicott upend the defending champions and return the Gold Ball to the Whitman County.

The Colfax Bulldogs have been in the 2B Ranks for two years and excelled at state during the fall and winter winning the past two volleyball championships and winning the basketball championship last year and set to do it again. A great honor for the Bulldogs to win the title as Coach Sue Doering was inducted into the State Volleyball Coaches Hall of Fame.

Congrats to the Eagles and Bulldogs for surving a grueling tournament and winning a State Championship.
