WOODBURY, MN - It was a happy home opener for the Raptors of East Ridge as they defeated the Hastings Raiders, 42-14. The Raptors after failing to win one game last year, now find themselves 2-0 here in 2010. A balanced offensive attack was too much for the Raider defense, scoring 3 2nd quarter touchdown to pull away and lead at the half 28-0. Hastings finally scored after 6 quarters of football in the third quarter, but thats all they could muster against a tough raptor defense. Next week, Hastings plays host to Park, and the Raptors will take their undefeated squad on the road to White Bear.
