Eagles start fast in victory

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Andrew Larson scored 3 rushing touchdowns in the first quarter to lead the Eden Prairie Eagles over the Minneapolis Washburn Millers 36-6 tonight at Washburn.
Larson scored on the opening drive for the Eagles as they came out strong. Washburn started their first drive at their own 5 yard line, and QB Kyle Hughes was unable to avoid the Eagle pass rush on the first play and was sacked for a safety.
Larson added 2 more TD runs in the first quarter for a 23-0 lead.
In the 2nd quarter, Cedric Chappell made a leaping grab of a well thrown ball by Kyle Hughes for the only Miller's score of the ball game.
