ANDOVER, MN - A classic NW Suburban clash was had tonight and Andover breaks a 2 game losing streak in style with a win over Osseo. The 1st half had Osseo scoring 1st on an interception return for a touchdown by Joshua McLain. Andover answered back with a 4 yard touchdown run by QB Tyler Finnes. It was 7-7 at that point. Osseo's QB Hebert hit Joey Sonnenfeld for a 10 yard TD reception but the extra point was no good. Finnes then ran another one in from 5 yards out (PA no good) 13-13 with 5:05 left in the 2nd Quarter. Finnes later threw a 54 yard TD pass to Jake Wagner (PA good by McLaughlin) 20-13 at halftime.

The 2nd half saw more of Finnes. He scored on the Huskies 1st possession on a 47 yard run (PA no good)26-13 with 10:36 in the 3rd Quarter. Osseo's Sam Conner scored on a 5 yard TD run (PA no good) to bring the score to 26-19 with 5:29 left in the game. Andover answered back, however, with a 33 yard FG by kicker Tyler McLaughlin to give the Huskies a 10 point lead. Sam Conner made it interesting by punching it in from 2 yards with 3:01 left and brought the score to within 3 and even got the ball back but an interception sealed the deal for Andover.

Final score 29-26 Andover wins!
