ANDOVER, MN - What looked to be all Andover in the 1st half turned into a battle in the 2nd. Andover took a 17-3 lead into the half with touchdowns by Finnes (1 yd) and Briggity (16 yd). Coon Rapids answered back in the 3rd quarter with a 27 yard td strike from Aase to Hansen to bring it to within 7 with 7:54 in the 3rd quarter. The Huskies had a chance to add 3 more but missed on a 27 yard FG attempt by McLaughlin with 2:43 in the 3rd. Then with 4:52 left in the game, Antonio Ford brought Coon Rapids to within 1 with a 1 yard TD run in a drive that started from the 20. The extra point was wide right by Hrab and the score remained at 17-16 ultimately as final.
