Tom Groff sells shamrocks for Mercy Home.

 
BURBANK, ILL - STL Sports Media's 1st Annual 'Give Back' Week was a complete success! The funds raised by STL Sports Media for Mercy Home organization surpassed our goal and totaled over $1000.

Mercy Home for Boys & Girls is an American privately-funded childcare and residential home for abused, homeless and neglected children. For more than 122 years, Mercy Home has provided a safe haven for children from broken homes and violent, turbulent backgrounds.

During the STL/Rita Varsity Basketball game over $450 was raised selling shamrocks on that night alone. Throughout the following week, over $200 was raised in T-Shirt sales and shamrock sales.

To close out 'Give Back' week, STL Sports Media had recruited some of its best guys to help sell shamrocks in Downtown Chicago during the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 12th. We would like to thank Tom Groff, Bryan Radtke, Juan Reyes, Kyle Dalton, and David Munoz for helping out and for raising a collective total of $400, in one hour alone.

We look forward to having a 'Give Back' week again in the future.
