ATLANTA, GA - Week 2 in the Gridiron Developmental Football league is set to kick off and with that the Top 25 was released by President Charles Thompson via Facebook. The defending champion Carolina Warriors (1-0) occupy the number-one spot.
The Henry County Horsemen (1-0) are eighth while fellow American Football Group partner Atlanta Chiefs (1-0) are fourteenth. The Horsemen (over Atlanta Lions) and Chiefs (over Atlanta/Tri-Cities Aggression) cruised in the season openers. Henry County will face the Georgia Crush this weekend who is ranked eighteenth is headed in to the contest. The Chiefs have a bye week.
American Football Group memebers the Atlanta/Tri-Cities Aggression (0-1) and Georgia Jets (0-0) are unranked. The Aggression will face the West Georgia Renegades (0-1) while the Georgia Jets will have their second consecutive bye week to start the season this weekend. The Jets will not strap up the pads until June 18th at the Atlanta Lions, which has the team restless.
Total Sports Coverage will be on the scene for this Saturday's contest between the Henry County Horsemen and the Georgia Crush.
