ROSWELL, Ga - ML King defeats Stephenson 50-49. Blake Tibbs 82-yd kickoff return for a touchdown with less than 26 seconds remaining to seal the win for ML King, answering Mike Davis 4-yard touchdown run. Tibbs also had touchdown receptions of 20,5,42 and 14 yards to finished out his box score.
ML King trailed 36-20 at the half yet outscored Stephenson 30-13 in the second half.
Jonquel Dawson threw for 6 touchdowns on 297 yards passing, yet three picks. Joshua Sanford caught a 59-yard touchdown pass while Andrecas Jackson scored the first ML King touchdown, which was their only rushing touchdown. Mike Davis rushed 39 times for 213 yards and 2 touchdowns for Stephenson. ML King wins it's second consecutive Region title, third in program history.
Buford led 28-7 at halftime. On the opening kickoff of the second half CJ Moore returned it 95-yards for a touchdown and Buford pulled it's starters on their way to a 49-10 win.
Rick LeGrant had 99 yards rushing, which included an 85 -yard touchdown to kill what little momentum Blessed Trinity got after a 10-yard touchdown pass from Spencer McManes to Chris Dore to pull Blessed Trinity to within 14 at 21-7, then LeGrant broke off his run.
Buford finished with 368 total yards, with 273 of them coming in the ground. Blessed Trinity finished with 125 yards of total offense. Buford won their 10th Region title in the last 11 seasons, 2009 was the only season they didn't win the region during that span.
Camden County 62 Beach 0 F- JJ Green scored again on special teams returning a dazzling punt for a touchdown giving Camden a 28-0 lead and from there the route was on.

Cedar Shoals 33 Winder-Barrow 0 F- Cedar Shoals finishes 5-5, a two game improvement for last season, under first year coach L'Dreco Thomas. Rodney Willingham (140-all purpose yards, 2 touchdowns), Chris Middlebrooks and Tay Bowens all scored touchdowns for Cedar. Quarterback Darius Jordan threw a touchdown pass.

Milton 14 Roswell 13 F- Roswell finishes with first winless season in school history.
Elbert County 27 East Hall 7 F- Elbert played without start running back Tyshon Dye who sat with an ankle injury.
South Gwinnett 24 Archer 21 F-Archer makes the playsoff in year three as Parkview lost to Dacula 31-21. Parkview misses the playoffs for the second time in three seasons.
North Gwinnett 28 Peachtree Ridge 0 F- North Gwinnett wins their 3rd consecutive Region 7-5A championship. Joe Jones and Donnie Miles both rushed for over 130 yards each for North Gwinnett. Jones had a rushing TD and receiving TD. Scotty Hosch passed for 2TDs and ran for a TD.
Clarke Central 38 Flowery Branch 35 F- Quenshon Watson scored 4 rushing touchdowns on 294 yards rushing for Clarke Central. Flowery Branch quarterback Kanler Coker passed for 3 touchdowns. Clarke Central will be the number 2 seed in the Region behing Hertiage-Conyers, the region champion. Flowery Branch will be the third seed. The seeding was decided by a draw as the teams finished in a three-way tie for first place in Region 8-4A.

North Marion(FL) 9 Dunnellon(FL) 3 F-Reggie Wilkerson scored the games only touchdown on a 9-yard pass from Chase Tuten. The Colt defense also got on the board by scoring a safety courtesy of Javon Alexander and held Dunnellon without a touchdown. North Marion is District 5A-5 champions.
