LOBO CLASSIC CHALLENGE

A. HIGH 9, LONGVIEW 7: Arkansas High overcame an early six-run deficit, using a six-run fifth to do most of its damage to rally for a 9-7 win over the Longview Lobos.



Arkansas survived 10 Lobo hits and took advantage of five Longview errors t ocome back for the win. Jarod Brown doubled twice and drove in three runs to lead the way for Arkansas High.

Cullen Roach and Spencer Barton both drove in two runs in the loss for the Lobos, with Sam Scarborough and Matt Armstrong adding RBIs. Scarborough, Barton and Matt Hudson all had stolen bases.

The Lobos will return to acton on Monday with a road trip to Carthage.

At the Lobo Classic Challenge today, games are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. (Pine Tree vs. Brook Hill), 2 p.m. (Brook Hill vs. Arkansas High) and 4:30 p.m. (Pine Tree vs. Texas High).
