APPLE VALLEY, MN - No wind, clear skies, harvest moon and a yellow helicopter were all part of a nice night of homecoming football in Apple Valley where Eastview hosted Bloomington Jefferson and came out on top!

The Lightning scored first on a 6 play, 56 yard drive capped off by a 1 yard TD run by Sophomore RB Will Rains (XP good by Fluegge). Early in the 2nd Quarter, Jefferson answered back on an 80 yard, 8 play drive and an airborn TD from QB Noah Luedtke to Kwame Becker-Waganda (XP good by Larson). With under 3 minutes in the half Will Rains again scored on runs of 1 and 13 yards (both XPs good by Fluegge) and Eastview enjoyed a half-time lead of 21-7.

In the second half, Eastview scored first on a nice 10 play, 66 yard drive and a 13 yard TD pass from Henry McIssac to big Ben Oberfeld (XP good by Fluegge). The two teams exchanged punts on the next 3 possessions, but Eastview found the end zone again with 4:34 left in the game on an 11 yard TD run by Davis Burnham (XP good by Fluegge). It was 35-7 Eastview. The Jaguars didn't quit and Kwame Becker-Waganda scored the 2nd Jefferson TD on a 6 yard reception from QB Noah Luedtke. With 3:51 in the fourth quarter the score was 35-14 Eastview, and would prove to be the end result.
