2015 Football Season of RISD

RICHARDSON, N. Texas - Entering their 14th season of covering Richardson ISD football, and other sports, the North Texas Sports Network along with Davradio Productions, will be bringing the play by play for the 2015 season!

Handling the play by play duties for the 14th season will be Dallas/Ft. Worth radio veteran Dave Michaels and entering his 11th season behind the microphone handling Color Analyst duties will be Frank “Doc” Moorefield.

Both have had been providing sports commentary for the RISD as well as other schools in the DFW area, along with basketball, and at times boxing for the Guns & Hoses Boxing Tournament, that is held every year in the fall.

The 2015 season for RISD will start on Friday night the 28th of August when South Garland opens up against the L.V. Berkner Rams at 7:30PM with the pre-game beginning at 7PM with comments and interviews with the coaches involved in the game!

The entire schedule is found on the website of Davradio Productions at along with other information about upcoming events for the 2015-16 season, with not just football, but talk shows, and boxing, the college football season with special games being played at AT&T Stadium beginning with Wisconsin taking on Alabama, then there will be the Southwest Classic when Arkansas and Texas A&M hook up, then there will be Baylor and Texas Tech near the end of the season.

Then the College Football Championship Semi-Final game at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl, with Countdown Cotton, the other events during that time will be the Zaxby’s Heart of Dallas Bowl, and the Lockheed Armed Forces Bowl, all three bowls will be covered by NTSN with updates, as well as Big Game Christian Sports Network.

In the spring NTSN will also be once again covering the AT&T Byron Nelson Golf Championship, and during the summer baseball and softball will once again grace the airwaves of NTSN.
