HOME | Central Saints vs. Saint Louis Christian College The Lady Saints played their first official games of the season this past weekend. Friday night they faced Emmaus Bible College. The Eagles seemed startled when they lost their first game (25-13), but found their bearings and hit their way through the next three games (22-25,19-25, and 17-25) to take the match. On Saturday, on Emmaus Bible College's court, Central played Dayspring College, from outside Chicago, Illinois. Before the game, Coach Menear asked Emmaus' Coach if he knew anything about Dayspring's team. All he could report is that they "never let anything hit the floor." And boy, was he right. The Saints fought hard, but couldn't pull out a win, despite many very long rallies (14-25, 15-25, 19-25) This coming week, CCCB volleyball will travel to Springfield, MO for the NCCAA Pre-Region Tournament. Their first opponent will be Friday morning.
