Our Commitment To User Privacy

Your privacy is very important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make regarding the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our website and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested. 

The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the meridix.com website. On many pages throughout our network, you can order products, make requests, request support, and register to receive various services or materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

In addition, on some of these pages you can submit information about other people or on behalf of an organization. The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. 

We use the information you provide about someone else when placing an order only to complete delivery of the product and to confirm delivery. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. 

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive, to send out confirmations regarding accounts, and updates or changes regarding our services. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with any outside parties. 

You can register with our website if you would like to receive additional communications from us, such as support alerts, as well as updates on NEW products or services. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose, nor will you be contacted in this manner, unless you specifically request such communcations. 

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to specifically identify each of those individuals. 

Like most standard Web site servers, we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

We may from time to time employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us as to which content is most effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. The main difference between the two is that clear gifs are invisible on the page and are much smaller, about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Clear gifs are not tied to users’ personally identifiable information.

Clear Gifs can "work with" existing cookies on a computer if they are both from the same Web site. That means, for example, that if a person visited “www.meridix.com”, which uses a company's clear gif, the Web site would match the clear gif's identifier and the company's cookie ID number, to show the past online behavior for that computer. For example, the process could simply inform users of a list of recent events they have accessed.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. 

Our Commitment To Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place the most effective physical, electronic, and managerial procedures as reasonably available to us, including encryption and secure certificates, in order to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. 

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by either accessing your account online, by contacting support@meridixcreative.com, or by using our online support system located at http://www.meridix.com/support. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information. 

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request in any of the methods explained above that credibly shows the error. 

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting any access or making any corrections.

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to make changes to our privacy policy, we will post the changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. 

If, however, we are going to use users’ personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email when possible, and by posting a notice on our Web site for 30 days.
