Heart of America All-Conference Teams Announced

LIBERTY, Missouri - The William Jewell College men’s and women's soccer teams have placed a total of 15 players on the Heart of America Athletic Conference All-Conference teams.
Midfielder Manny Tovar and forward Brett Lewis were named to the Heart of America All-Conference men's first team. Defender Micah Holdaway and forward Troy Green were named to the All-Conference second team. Defender Marcus Mallams and forwards Matt Happy and Michael Brown were named to the All-Conference third team.
Defender Theresa Noll and midfielder Danielle Doerfler were named to the HAAC All-Conference women's first team. Midfielder Sali Stout, defender Sarah Williams, forward Annie Shepard and goal keeper Rebecca Ewing were named to the All-Conference second team. Defender Abby Hauver and forward Nicole Littell were named to the All-Conference third team.
The Cardinal men begin the HAAC tournament at home on Monday, November 9 against Graceland University.
The Cardinal women begin the HAAC tournament at home on Tuesday, November 10 against Avila University. Kickoffs for both matches are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Greene Stadium on the campus in Liberty, Mo.
