SPOKANE, Spokane Arena - Congratulations to the Pe Ell Trojans and Colfax Bulldogs for winning State 2B titles.

Pe Ell, one of the smallest 2B schools, defeated the Liberty Christian Patriots in the boy's final earning the school its first state basketball title. Led by tournament MVP Hank Robinson the Trojans dominated the Patriots.

Colfax made it two in a row defeating the LaSalle Lightning in the girl's final. Kayla Johnson, tournament MVP, led the Bulldogs to a surprisingly easy victory over the Lightning.

Congratulations to both teams and to all teams who made the state tournament. Final placings:

3rd - Davenport
4th - Napavine
5th - Bear Creek
6th - La Conner
7th - Chief Leschi
8th - Colfax
