ST PAUL, MN - The defending State 5A Champions will not repeat this year, as Mounds View knocked out Cretin Derham Hall, 21-7.
A tight game throughout, each team had a touchdown in the first half and still were tied at 7 apiece after three quarters. I big fourth and goal from the one was converted and a 65 yard interception return for the final score iced the game away for the Mustangs. Cretin Derham Hall ends the season at 10-2 on the year, and the Mustangs will take a 10-1 record in to the Semi Finals at the Dome next week and take on number one ranked Wayzata.
