Asked Questions (FAQs) Try
using our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) for answers to the most
common questions regarding the unlimited streaming Meridix Broadcast
Producer and other Meridix
services. 1.) How do I use Meridix tools and utilities.? Not
at all! The time limit for the broadcast is unlimited. There is no problem broadcasting 24 hours a day,
7 days a week.
2.) How many people can listen at one time?
When you sign up for a LiveID with our service, you are purchasing the
right to simply select the
number of simultaneous listeners you want your account to support. Additional listeners will be given full access to your broadcasts on a
first come, first serve basis. As long as your audience can
listen, they can recieve your broadcasts. Our server capabilities and
datacenters will have no problems handling a large number of listeners.
3.) What do I need in order to broadcast online? All you need is the Meridix
Broadcast Producer software, a microphone (or any other
audio device) which is to be plugged into the microphone (or line-in) jack in your computer, and a way to connect to the internet
(modem, cable, lan, etc). That’s it!!!
4.) If I have no one available to broadcast, do I have any other options? In the absence of a
broadcaster or on air voice, you are always able to use the text-only format in the
Meridix Broadcast Producer software. This option comes up once you sign onto the
Broadcast Producer and select "Broadcast New Event".
5.) What type of events can I broadcast? The
Meridix Broadcast Producer will enable you to broadcast anything you want. Some possibilities for use of the
Meridix Broadcast Producer include (but are definitely not limited to) sporting events,
internet radio, ceremonies, business meetings, speeches, and talk shows.
6.) Can I play music on an online broadcast? The
Meridix Broadcast Producer is fully capable of playing music on a broadcast. However, we
recommend that you get permission before using copyrighted music unless you have clearance to do so.
Meridix Creative is not responsible for users playing unauthorized songs on our system.
7.) Where do I get the Meridix Broadcast Producer software? To sign up for the Meridix
Broadcast Network, you can go to www.meridix.com/download
to obtain the software. Then, go to www.meridix.com/golive

that (Server 2003, Longhorn, etc.).
